Legend goes Alan Stillman wanted to meet women and this became the inspiration for his starting Fridays in New York city. Dan Scoggin, a manager for Boise Cascade, saw the promise of the Friday’s concept approached Stillman to help him expand – and the rest is history. After Stillman cashed out from a sale of the company, Scoggin became CEO. A sales decline led to Fridays needing to pivot their original concept.
